As guests arrived they were asked to pick a letter and fill the page with words that started with that letter to be assembled into an alphabet book. This way we could all be a part of little Ethan's education!
Then we all sat down in the dining room for a meal together.
Then back to the sofas to open gifts and have dessert.

The fabulous Party Planners with the guest of honor
All the guest were sent away with cute little tea bags with tags tied to them with ribbon. The tags had the baby's name and due date on one side and then a fruit of the spirit written on the other. Each guest was asked to pray specifically for that fruit in Ethan's life.

Love all the different ideas - the letter pages, the fruit of the spirit prayer tags - wonderful ideas.
The table and desserts looked fabulous. Are those marbles or blues little rocks in the goblets?
They are blueberries!
Thanks, but I must admit most of the ideas were stolen from prior showers and then modified.
I always love a good party! Looks like y'all did good with this one...
Looks absolutely fabulous.
What a beautiful table setting. You three could be party planners on the side. Looks like lot of fun was had by all. What did you eat? xo mom
Ok...too cute. I love these ideas and will definitely file them away for future use. Good job on the party planning!!
Kristin, it was a beautiful shower. I love the pictures of the table! That's also a great picture of the two of us. :-) --Karen
