Photo Hunt: Delicious
PhotoHunt
I wouldn't typically think of Christmas wrapping as 'delicious', but the way Bella enjoyed chewing on the bows I must assume that she thought they were!

The Polls are Open
So still no decision on a name. Dave keeps calling her ChubbChubb and I have been calling her either that or Buffy. But, I also like Baci (Italian for kisses) because she is so affectionate, but I'm not sure how to pronounce it.
So to recap:
ChubbChubb - from "The ChubbChubbs!" (2002 Academy Award Winner, Best Short Animated Film)
Buffy - because she is buff in color and it starts with a "B"
Baci - Italian for "kisses", but if you vote for this you will have to show how to pronounce it
Let the voting begin....

Another Kitten
Last night we came home with a 4 month old female Cinnamon-Silver Ocicat. She is very cute and super sweet. Bella is a Chocolate Ocicat, so they look quite different in color, but both have the signature Ocicat spots.

How about "Buffy"?
Still working on the name. It, of course, must start with a "B". We are very open to suggestions.

Beau Has Gotta Go!
Tomorrow night I will be taking Beau back to the foster family we got him from.
For several weeks now he has been frequently opting out of using his litter box. We have tried everything to remedy the problem including taking him to the vet to ensure nothing wrong physically, multiple litter boxes, different brands of litter, putting the boxes in different locations, praising him profusely when he uses the littler box & scolding when he doesn't, ect. However, nothing has worked and Sunday (on Dave's birthday!) he even peed on our down comforter just inches from my pillow. That was pretty much the last straw for me. Facing another 20 years of worrying about where I sit and what I touch in my own house is just not an option. We do feel really sad for Bella since we know she will really miss him (and if I wasn't so angry at him, I'd be able to admit that I'll miss him too).
So we are now in search of 2nd Ocicat to be Bella's new friend/playmate. Bella's personality & disposition is really ideal and matches the breed profiles we have read on-line perfectly. We hope to have our new kitten by the weekend.
I'll keep you posted!

Kitten Update
Thought it might be about time for a kitten update.

Napping with their favorite people
Grandma Lanell meeting her grandkitties
Beau loves bags & Bella loves tissue paper
Snuggling together

They are both doing really well. They get along perfectly. They love to play together, sleep together, and pretty much do everything together.
On Friday Bella got her girl surgery. The vet said to keep her still for the 1st couple days and that it might be a good idea to separate her from Beau at 1st. So Friday night be attempted to keep them in separate rooms. They both cried and clawed all night until and nobody got any sleep until they were together.
Here are some pics:
